Ella Mai‘s ‘Boo’d Up‘ stands tall as a contemporary R&B classic, powered by the general public’s desire for fresh soulful and rhythmic sounds.
Today, she thanks her supporters for pushing the track to Billboard glory by dropping a new track named ‘Trip.’
Her new album is yet to bag a due date but will drop this Fall!
Listen below…
Smash!
The smooth & sultry number slides into action to support her forthcoming tour which kicks off in Dallas on August 6th!
My new fav ??? love her voice very distinctive, dosnt sound like all the rest. Issa hit!
yassssssssss 2ND Major hit. She did that. Now with the funds she gets from these hits she needs to buy some SHEA BUTTER for that hair…..and we good.
Yup it’s a hit..
But omg she reeeeally needs new instrumentation.. this and boo’d Up sound so cheap
Her tones remind me of Amerie…anybody else hear it? This and Boo’d Up could have been on Amerie’s debut album…that’s a compliment by the way ??
Not hearing the Amerie at all.
This song sounds like booed up, although not a fan of her voice it expected something different.
The song is just ok. It sounds like Boo’d Up part 2 but it just kind of sits there and gets repetitive.
Don’t think it sounds like booed up at all!!Think its another dope song..Go ahead..
R & B trying to make a comback
Love Ella and HER especially
Meh…I expected more
look at the UK a pathetic lil place where black women r largely ignored and non-thug black guys ignored too…. lol
Estells american boy dropped in 2008 n here we r 10 years later same situation lol
black artists just like black actors should ignore that neo-nazi country
What an ignorant comment! I have been bumping Ella for the last year or so and H.E.R and NAO – we have some of the best young black talent and just because it’s not to everyone’s taste doesn’t make us Neo-Nazis. You are pathetic! I agree she deserves more recognition in her home country but it happens to many artists all over the world. If you don’t like the music you aren’t buying it.
This song bumps, and I will support Ella regardless of where she is from or the colour of her skin – simple.
I can’t stand Beyonce’s Music but it certainly isn’t because she is black – it’s just taste. I’m not saying she isn’t talented, I just don’t enjoy her tunes.
Get over it!
I like her sound!!
