I disagree with the Kendrick Lamar comparison. Black Panther only had 1 soundtrack and the movie was original. Lion King has 2 soundtracks and the movie is a remake. With Lion King, the question is which soundtrack does one buy?
1. Bey is only in the movie 18 minutes.
2. Bey’s song Spirit was overhyped without it being a hit like Kendrick & Sza’s song.
3. People don’t like being fed something. The whole album blatantly appears like Bey’s obvious money grab by milking her little role in a remake flick into something more than what it was.
4. There really should only be 1 soundtrack for this remake film and I’m sure Bey could have been included as a producer along with Elton John and Pharrell.
5. Bey’s greed is too obvious lately. I know her mortgage and monthly house upkeep notes are pushing 200K for the property in CA alone but she ain’t got to be so obvious with the hustle!
