Sources close to US Weekly reveal that Frank Ocean and Travis Scott will top the first Coachella of the new decade.
In snatching the gig, the eclectic pair reportedly join rockers Rage Against The Machine – who announced their involvement earlier this year.
Set to take place April 10th-12th and April 17th-19th in Indio, CA, the engagement comes on the heels of Ocean’s steady stream of new music releases. It follows Scott’s ASTROWORLD tour+festival, Netflix doc, and chart-topping single.
Now, it’s worth stressing that the official announcement isn’t made until January. But when sources like this “surface” they almost always hold true.
Time will tell.
Can Frank even perform live? ?
Frank ocean would be me to sleep can we get a more up beat artist.
Those aren’t headlining names. Where’s Drake, Rihanna or Taylor?
Those are not Coachella acts. Those are pop artists. Coachella is a festival to celebrate music alternative to pop charts. These are definitely on par with what majority of Coachella has been about since its inception
Child, Coachella is about popularity now that’s why they raise ticket prices every year as well.
No it’s not. You‘ve probably have never been. 95% of the acts are not “popular” acts.
And ticket are prices are higher because life prices are higher. Everything in modern society goes up in price heftily ever year, whether a Coachella ticket or a .99c bag of hot Cheetos which is now $1.89 and still only half full. Inflation, my dear.
