JoJo shared her powerful story this week as part of a Honda documentary, pulling the veil back on the highs and hardships that’ve defined her unique journey.
Now, on the day she announced new single ‘Man,’ the performance component of the doc project has been released.
Filmed in front of an intimate audience of fans, the live special saw Jo perform kick-off cut ‘Joanna’ and ‘Sabotage.’

I thought “Sabotage” was a step in the right direction, but I forgot all about it and couldn’t remember the tune until I watched this video. Her best music was when she was under someone else’s thumb, and I really think those people knew better than JoJo what sound was right for her, because they created something more memorable than every single JoJo has released after Blackground. “Mad Love” is the one post-Blackground song that I think truly represents who JoJo is as an artist. You can tell she was into that song just by the way she sings it.
