Trey Songz has returned with a quarantine care package in the form of new song ‘Back Home.’
The Summer Walker-assisted is the first taste of fresh material from the R&B crooner, whose last album ‘Tremaine’ dropped in 2017.
Last week saw the star feed fans with the streaming release of revered mixtapes ‘Anticipation’ I & II.
With those appetizers served, it’s back to fresh helpings of the new-new.

It’s a vibe.
With such a relatively lengthy spell out of the spotlight, it’s wise of Songz to have enlisted Walker, as well it was for him to build the song around samples (Rose Royce, Cam’ron, and New Edition).
It doesn’t boast the urgency of a “comeback” track nor is it immediately clear if it was ever meant to be. But sometimes, a slow and steady re-integration is best – especially at a time like this.
He should’ve kept this song at home too.
His Name, Trey, has always..been Bigger..Than His Songz…? Fire…The A&R Person..or Hire..One ?
