Over the years, there’s been no love lost between the femcees. But it appears the ‘My Neck, My Back’ rapper is keener than keep to keep the flames burning.
Trina, conversely, seems to have delivered a “case closed” on the matter.
For, during an Instagram Live with 99 Jamz tonight, the Queen of Miami shared receipt after receipt (after receipt) when unpacking why detractors such as Khia have no say over her name, legacy, or pedigree.

Maybe it’s because I’m from Tampa Bay Florida. But Khia has hits after hits we play down there. Both Trina and Khia are Florida icons when it comes to clubs.

Omg u took it back. Many forget Trina claimed to be a real estate agent before rapping. She also claimed she was 21 when she came out and she was way older. Trina isn’t a legend in my book. Lil Kim is a legend. Lauryn Hill is a legend. Queen Latifah is a legend. Missy Elliott is a legend. Trina is a popular rapper, but she is unsung. She really didn’t have the hits or notoriety any of the others have had because she didn’t know how to rebrand and reinvent herself over the years. She has been rapping the same tramp-stamp music for 20 years. Yes, the City Girls are bigger than she ever was doing it but its still the same ole’ 2 step. Trina aged out of her category. She needs to bow out gracefully for find a new way to make money. Her album rollout was embarrassing and the songs were 4-5 years old at that point. 7 flops album doesn’t make anyone a legend the last time I heard. She has not one platinum certification or one top 10 BB Hot 100 hit.
Trina trying to prove herself to an independent artist LOL. She is so lame. If she was independent like Khia throughout her career she would not even be spoken of today.

Yes, the smart move would have been to say nothing and totally ignore Khia
BUT Trina being the hoodrat that she claims not to be is out here worrying about street cred…from her Local fan base
I have noticed a pattern with Trina that she has been VERY consistent doing in just about all the times that she speaks
She claims humility while bragging
She claims hits while admiitting that she doesn’t care about the charts
She claims her fame is not due to Trick Daddy but is thanks him for putting her on ( AFTER disrespecting him)
She claims to be submissive in relationships while bragging about controlling & confrontational behavior while in relationships
This chick is a Liar…all day
And all those “shout outs” to other female rappers was nothing but a deflection while low- key begging for validation and praying for a collab
She should’ve ignored Khia
But she is too young minded for that
She needs to retire…while her looks are still in tact
