As if seeing his last studio album debut atop the Billboard 200 wasn’t reason enough to celebrate, the LP has given Future yet another reason to be high off life.
Details inside:
Upon updating its logs (July 29), the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) has revealed Future’s 8th studio album – the May 15-released ‘High Off Life’ – has passed its threshold for Platinum certification. This indicates the set has shifted the equivalent of 1 million units in the United States.
Housing the 5x Platinum hit, ‘Life is Good’ (featuring Drake), the project premiered atop the Billboard 200 at #1 with 153,000 units sold (his highest first-week sum to date).
In addition to becoming his sixth studio album to peak at the top of the Billboard 200, ‘High’ is now Future’s fourth studio effort to boast Platinum certification or higher.
