Joe Biden‘s presidential campaign has enlisted a slew of music heavyweights for his “Get Out The Vote” ads.
Ludacris, Monica, Jeezy, and Jermaine Dupri have all been tapped for the ads, which focus on Black voters in battleground states.
Now Dupri has opened up to The Hollywood Reporter about the ads.
His words below:
“It is really really important to make sure people don’t sit at home. There are a lot of people I know that are still on the fence about voting, period.”
In one of the ads, Ludacris can he heard saying:
“If you’ve been out marching in these streets, exercise your rights. You now need to exercise your right to vote.”
Dupri then went on to praise the former Vice President for how seriously he is taking his outreach to the Black community, saying:
“He really wants to hear what we have to say. He came to the meeting with a pad and a pencil. He didn’t come to the meeting acting like he’s the boss, or the president.”
