With a third week inside the top 40 set to be penciled on the refreshed Billboard 200, Jazmine Sullivan‘s ‘Heaux Tales’ narrative has already been labeled the R&B offering of the year.
To keep that story pushing forward, Sullivan has intensified her promo push for the project. Over the last week, the GRAMMY nominee was spotted at a number of outlets across radio, Web, and TV with the latter’s highlight coming via a pit stop at BRAVO’s ‘Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen’ Sunday (January 31).
While there, Jaz gleamed when quizzed about her dream collaboration with chart-topping rapstress Cardi B, discussed her shelved collaboration with Brandy and Fantasia, and so much more.

In reference to the first interview highlight above, readers may remember Fantasia sending fans into a frenzy ahead of her 2019 album, ‘Sketchbook,’ when she announced the project featured a collaboration with Jazmine Sullivan and Brandy before circling back a week later to recant the statement.
When exclusively interviewed by That Grape Juice (click here to read), she alluded to ‘industry politics’ being the cause of the song’s shelving but was sure to reassure music lovers the collaboration would happen.
Later, Brandy echoed the sentiment in her exclusive interview with That Grape Juice. Click here to see what she said.
Your thoughts?
JAZMINE IS THE SUPERIOR SINGER N WRITER OF THE THREE SO IT SHOULD BE SOMETHING CHOSEN BY HER WITH HER LYRICS
BRANDY MORE THAN LIKELY DIDNT WANT THE ALREADY SELECTED SONG RELEASED HENCE WHY B7 TOOK ALMOST A DECADE TO BE RELEASED
I want Jazmine to write it, I want Fantasia to do a good portion of the singing, and BRANDY TO do backgrounds and vocal arranging
Neither is more superior vocally than the other. All are beastly in their own way.
Truth tea is Fantasia presented a song to Brandy and Jazmine but they didn’t like it. Fantasia is an amazing singer and performer but doesn’t have a good ear for music.
I can’t wait for the right song to come along. It’s gonna be fire. 🔥
Black church gays in their late 30s are finally gonna eat.
They have been waiting for this collaboration since god knows when
Why do you have to say that all the time? You’re a vile person and the negativity that you’ve spewed in this site is gonna come back on you..it’s a shame
Like anybody checking for it 🙄
I wish they would’ve done ‘pick up your feelings’ together they would’ve slayed that song between the 3 of them..
