Jennifer Hudson made her triumphant return to the ‘American Idol’ stage just minutes ago. The singer, who was unceremoniously voted off the 3rd season of the show which was eventually won by Fantasia in 2004, performed her latest single, ‘Where You At’.

Funny how American Idol wants to claim her after she earned herself an Oscar! She didn’t get any love when she was on the show competing. I hate “Where you at” !!! …and I’m not a J.Hud fan… but, maybe I’m slowly becoming one(somewhat). I listened to her album intending to only purchase a single or 2 and I brought the whole thing. It sounds really good!

I really respect her she’s a good artist but I am not touch by her voice or her music actually this particular song. I really want to be a fan I’m really trying but there’s something missing for me that some kind of magic doesn’t happend when I listen to her.
But objectively she has a great voice and she looks beautiful so as a baby boy !

People are killing me acting like Idol “lost” something when she was voted off. Uh sorry, if she hadn’t been voted off that night, she still would’ve been voted off eventually. Let’s not forget who the winner of her season was and screaming, drama filled life & all – Fantasia sings and performs circles around Jhud anyday. Yes Jennifer she has a strong voice & I actually like her as a person but you would never catch her in my cd player. She would do better on broadway or stage plays.

Her voice is strong but she seems so cold with an old sound. One of my friends bought her CD and said it was so so. She do more yelling than anything. She been on Wendy Williams, The View, American Idol, GMA, BET, Oprah, Donald Trump and on the view they gave the audience her CD. So lets see how she will do as sales.

This song is still a mess. It’s ridiculous how bad it is. It should have never been chosen as a single much less an album cut. The phrase alone “where you at” is just so damn ghetto i can’t even imagine. She looks great on that stage I just wish she would have put out some good music.

Fantasia would sing roses around Jennifer because she knows how to sing with using her tones as it shuld be needed. Jennifer sing like X-tina, yelling and not in a good way. Beyonce is a great singer and also a great vocalist that have been train well. Let’s call a spade a spade, Jen really won her Oscar for her singing that song, not for acting. Jen is still singing as though she’s on Dreamgirl era. Move on from that, fine your true voice and able to cross over and not sound so boring.
