As one of music’s most celebrated execs, Clive Davis has long stood as the embodiment of “the show must go on.” Especially as relates to his annual Pre-GRAMMY Gala.

Variety reports that the 88-year-old has been diagnosed with Bells Palsy – a serious but temporary illness that affects facial muscles and more.
The label boss – famed for propelling Whitney Houston to global super stardom – is said to be “receiving top-notch medical care.”
As a result, Davis’ annual extravaganza has been postponed until May.
The news comes during what was already a unique window of change for the Gala – which has taken place the day before every GRAMMY Awards since 1976.
Indeed, with the grip of the global health crisis forcing this year’s main ceremony to move from January 31 to March 14, Davis’ pre-show celebrations were split across the original date (virtually) and the new date.
