Billie Eilish is full of surprises.
The trailblazing 19-year-old teased ‘Happier Than Ever’ yesterday – which led many to believe it was the title of her forthcoming single.
And while that may very well still be the case, it turns out the title has a bigger meaning.

UPDATE: Eilish confirmed the news moments ago. She unwrapped the cover (above) and wrote:
MY NEW ALBUM “Happier Than Ever” OUT JULY 30TH! this is my favorite thing i’ve ever created and i am so excited and nervous and EAGER for you to hear it. i can’t even tell you. i’ve never felt so much love for a project than i do for this one. hope you feel what i feel. alsoooo new song out thursday at 9am too!!

The set is the follow-up to blockbuster debut ‘When We Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?’ – which snagged GRAMMYs, critical acclaim, and huge commercial success.
Speaking about her sophomore set during a visit to The Late Show with Stephen Colbert back in February, the 19-year-old said:
“I don’t think I would’ve made the same album, or even the album at all, if it weren’t for Covid. That doesn’t mean it’s about Covid at all, it’s just that, when things are different in your life, you’re different. That’s just how it is. So, I have to thank Covid for that, and that’s about it.”

This is an indication she’s probably going to dominate the 2022 Grammys again Lol . If Adele doesn’t drop her new album this fall she would have to compete for the 2023 Grammys. I’m patiently waiting for Adele to release her new album
This is a softer look for Billie very different from the last album. I’ll have to see what her new music sounds like.
