Fans of STARZ’ flagship series ‘Power’ can’t seem to get enough of its first spinoff, the Michael J. Rainey-led ‘Power Book II: Ghost.’
After kicking off its sophomore season to solid viewership figures less than a month ago, its network has already revealed they’re ordering a third.
Details inside:
Also starring GRAMMY-winning singer-actress Mary J. Blige, Cliff “Method Man” Smith, Woody McClain, and more, the 50 Cent-produced series has proven itself a consistent ratings draw for the network – a trait that made its season 3 renewal a no-brainer for execs.
“The continued success and cultural resonance of the Power universe is unprecedented, and fans are clearly still hungry for more Power Book II: Ghost,” said Jeffrey Hirsch, President and CEO of Starz. “We’re excited for the third season of the star-studded series to get into production early next year just ahead of the debut Power Book IV: Force, the fourth installment in the rapidly expanding franchise.”
As of time reported, no tentative 2022 premiere date for the third season has been announced.
