According to Primary Wave’s announcement, the agreement spans songs across the singer’s 15 studio albums.
Among the titles included are the title track from her landmark 1994 album ‘My Life’ and the soaring ‘Be Without You’, bringing multiple chapters of MJB’s career into the partnership.
The company says Blige and her team will gain access to its publishing and marketing resources, with opportunities to collaborate on branding, digital campaigns, new music marketing, and placements in film, television, and other media.
Financial terms and the size of any ownership stake were not disclosed. The announcement describes a partnership covering both compositions and recordings, without specifying a complete transfer of her masters.
The move arrives as the songstress continues celebrating that same catalog onstage. Her ‘Mary J. Blige: My Life, My Story’ residency at Dolby Live at Park MGM is scheduled to conclude on February 20, 2027.

A huge deal but undisclosed so we don’t actually know if it’s huge or not
