The Emmy-nominated series chronicles the layered lives of the elite Sanders family. Direct descendants of a slave who went on to become the wealthiest Black woman in a then-new Los Angeles, drama defines their present-day predicament. For, when the family’s modern matriarch dies, secrets and scandals bubble to the surface – forcing them to band together like never before.
