Wendy Williams finally answers her own famous question: how you doin’?
Taking to her personal Instagram account Wednesday (February 16), the 57-year-old talk show host – amid rumors of failing health from illness related to Graves’ disease and other conditions – uploaded a video of herself walking on the beach with her son, Kevin Hunter Jr.
Currently in Florida ‘taking a break’ from her native New Jersey, a very healthy-looking Williams shared a 5-minute video to not only let her concerned fans know that she’s ‘ok’ but that she has every intention on returning to ‘The Wendy Williams Show.’

Just days after Sherri Shepherd was announced as the permanent guest host of the ‘Wendy’ show, its titular host took to social media to trumpet her return.
“I am going back stronger … I want to be all I can be and then get back to New York and get on down with the ‘Wendy Williams Show,’” she promises fans awaiting her return.
The sentiment echoes that of Williams’ publicist, who recently took to press to issue a statement.
“She thanks everyone who has been patiently awaiting her return and believes that, thanks in large part to the love and support of her son, her family, her new team of doctors and a change of scenery, she is on the mend,” her publicist said.
While some praised Wendy’s seeming healthy appearance in the video, others questioned the date of its origin due to some questionable comments made in it.
The rep took time to clarify Wendy misrepresenting her own age in the clip and seemingly referring to her mother, who passed away in 2020, as if she were alive. Although Williams mentions in the video that she comes to Florida because she has “real family … mother, father, sister, brother” there, her publicist stated she was really referencing the fact her mom is buried in the Sunshine State.
Regarding her age, the rep says Wendy simply ‘misspoke’ when she referred to herself as 56 – even though she is actually 57-years-old.
As of time reported, there is no official date tied to Wendy’s talk show comeback.

Greetings people please stop being so mean. Instead pray for her she’s fine and may possibly be going through at this time. Who amongst us have never gone through a hard period. I love her and respect her as a strong black woman that has work her b*** off . So don’t say she’s a b… or broke Wendy is far from broke maybe broken but never broke. Wendy take your time and do whatever it takes to get you back to your healthy self. Remember Kevin needs you and that’s all you need to be concerned about! !!
