Dwayne Johnson’s ‘Black Adam’ Flies to Fall & ‘Aquaman 2’ Swims to 2023 in Warner Bros Release Shake Up

While the entertainment industry at large is showing positive signs as it rebounds from the global health crisis, the effects of the pandemic aren’t totally in rearview.

Case in point Warner Bros‘ release schedule, which has been reshuffled.

According to reports, COVID-19 has caused post-production delays with several key titles.

As a result, the Dwayne Johnson-led ‘Black Adam’ moves three months from its original July release date to October 21, 2022.

Meanwhile, fans will have to wait a while longer to see Jason Momoa make a splash in fellow DC title ‘Aquaman 2.’ For, the film has shifted from its December 16 theater date to March 17, 2023.

Originally due in May, ‘DC League of Super-Pets’ –  in which Johnson voices Superman’s Krypto the Super-Dog – will now land on July 29, 2022 (the initial release date for ‘Black Adam’).
