The ‘Power’ story is set to play on by way of its latest spin-off.

Because the Joseph Sikora-led ‘Power Book IV: Force’ has been renewed for a second season on STARZ.

Full story below…

The series, which premiered in February, chronicles the latest chapter of beloved character Tommy Egan.

On the show (which is the fourth in the ‘Power’ universe), viewers follow Egan’s journey after he put New York in his rearview and navigates new surroundings in Chicago – where he’s faced with fresh adversaries.

Speaking on the show, which delivered the cable channel’s biggest launch yet, Jeffrey Hirsch, CEO at STARZ said:

“Fans have been eagerly awaiting Joseph’s return as the iconic Tommy Egan and from the show’s record-setting debut, it was clear right away that they want to see another season of him taking on this new city. We are thrilled to have Joseph back in the Power Universe and to be expanding the world with a new tapestry of power players brought to life by our fantastic cast.”

No word yet on where the story arc will lead. But there will be changes.

Gary Lennon (whose credits include ‘Power’ and ‘Euphoria’) has taken the helm as showrunner. Interestingly, Robert Munic, who created ‘Force’ and served as its initial showrunner, stepped down last summer citing creative differences with the network.

Suffice to say, it’ll be intriguing to see which direction ‘Power Book IV: Force’ takes upon its return.
