Ciara makes a splash on the cover of Sports Illustrated‘s coveted 2022 Swimsuit Issue!
The stage blazer makes for an arresting sight in an array of figure-hugging bathing suits in a stunning shoot lensed by Ben Watts.
Arriving ahead of new music (a video for which CiCi was spotted shooting recently), the high-profile feature took place in Barbados.
Beyond posing it up, the mother of three opened up about hubby Russell Wilson, family, and more.

On Being Asked To Cover The Swimsuit Issue:
“I’ve always dreamed of being on this cover ever since I was really young. And especially as an entertainer, it’s always been pretty significant in the entertainment space, so it’s a big dream come true for me. It was a special day when I got the call.”
On Russell Wilson:
“I met my Boo back in 2015. I’ll never forget the day that he and I met … It’s like, when you know, you know. What I love is my husband’s heart and how he thinks of us. He’s always thinking of us. He loves serving at heart. That’s just who he is in general. He will go from football practice to taking Future to baseball practice or taking Sienna to ballet. He doesn’t want to miss a moment.”
On Family:
“[Russell] and I share the same vision for our babies, which I think makes the world of a difference, that we’re on the same page. It’s important that our kids—you know, they have way more access than we had growing up—so we want to make sure we keep them humble in the process to make sure they do things like having to pick up after themselves and knowing that life isn’t going to be handed to you.”
Russell Wilson on His Wife:
“Everybody knows about Ciara’s ability to dance. Sometimes I think that’s a metaphor for how she lives her life. She doesn’t just dance to entertain people. No, she dances to make the world dance with her, to spread energy and positivity.
She’s the same way with her music. It’s not a way to make a living, but rather it’s her gift to the world. So it has to be perfect. When she was nine months pregnant she was still writing “Level Up.” Literally the day she gave birth to our daughter, Sienna, she was still editing her songs, wanting them to be the best they could be. She’s relentless.”
