T-Pain is renowned for saying his mind and it appears that practice extends to voicing his views about his musical peers.
Case in point, Chris Brown.
For, during a new interview with Akademiks, the performer didn’t hold back when quizzed about his ‘Kiss Kiss’ collaborator. Specifically, his recent rant about the sales of his latest album ‘Breezy’ – a rant the star says is indicative of Brown having a “princess complex.”
See what T-Pain had to say below…
Explaining his stance, the 37-year-old drew on the concept of pretty privilege to unpack his take on the situation. He said:
“That is my mothaf*ckin’ n**ga, but I know what his faults are. The Princess Complex is not only when you get what you want but you get the accolades of a pretty person for doing absolutely f*cking nothing and just being pretty. The second that the first real mothaf*cka comes to you and says, ‘Hey, you ain’t that f*ckin’ pretty,’ it’s over.”
He continued:
“Now it’s like, ‘Y’all must’ve done something wrong because I’ve done the same thing that I’ve done every time and the sh*t has gone crazy. Y’all must have done something wrong. It ain’t me. I’m f*cking Chris Brown.’”

Do you agree with T-Pain’s take?!
I worship King Breezy not just because he’s pretty but because he can also outsing and out dance Michael Jackson. 👑 ✝
T pain just sum Jealous DARKY 😭😂 😭
You fat bag of infected puss. You can’t even see your feet.
Keep Michael Jackson’s name out ya mouth. Which is weird, because I don’t even know how there’s room for it with all the cupcakes and dirty diapers you’ve stuffed in there.
He right.. no one is buying the same album for the third time.. he has over saturated the music scene. You get excited about music cuz you haven’t heard it in a while, but Chris don’t take a break. Putting 40 songs on an album is entirely too much. What he brings is nothing new same old same old, people are starting to prefer his old music and old performance which is a bad thing. The girls are not lasting.
How he not lasting when he been dropping hits for 17 years straight even when you f a g s tried to take him out he prevailed everytime. He don’t need your support bottom you’ll prolly broke anyway. Get a job hater punk.
n i g g e r
People be killing me talking about Chris Brown been consistently putting out hits for 17 years lol. Chris has gone 15 years without a HUGE successful number one hit and he went 13 years without a top 5 hit until Drake saved him with No Guidance.
The past 13 years Chris Brown has been severely out sold and out performed on the charts by Bruno Mars, The Weekend, Ed Sheeran and Justin Bieber. Meanwhile fools be literally believing Chris is on Michael Jackson level lol SMMFH
T-Pain didn’t have to kick the man while he’s down. If he’s ya boy, why are you speaking out against him publicly??
I get he has a right to his opinion but I would never speak negatively about anyone I f*cks with for public Entertainment.
Damn! These dudes be out here running their mouths to any and everyone. Where is the guy code fellas?? Y’all messy AF, lol
It needed to be said, but I can’t help but think that T-Pain is happy to have company because he’s not doing nothing these days himself.
Breezy sold almost 80k. That is very good for a R&B artist with longevity. Not to mention Chris is still making hits as an artist. Therefore, he and T-pain aren’t nowhere near the same.
T Pain ain’t been relavent since 2010 so who cares what he says. He has a track record of being a jealous && shady bottom.
The last T-Pain track I liked was “Up Down”.
That’s still my JAM, lol
Breezy album is cute but not close to his best. As a whole it’s very forgettable and he needs to stop dropping 25 track albums🥴
Worry about Trenches never seeing the light of day f a g
Did I strike a nerve or something??? Why you so mad lmaooo💀 I said what I said dear you don’t like it too bad. Take it up with your repetitive fav hooeeee
Boy you are NOT CHRIS BROWN.
Why is he being such a snake? It was only a year ago that T-Pain was crying to the world about going through four years of depression when Usher gave him some advice and told him (in private) that he was ruining r&b. Now T-Pain is quick to harshly criticize his peers in the open. He should follow his own advice which is to go to the person the same way Usher did with him – in private. What does he get out of publicly bashing people he has or had a good working relationship with? He should respect Chris’ decision to stick to his formula, because after all, T-Pain hasn’t taken Usher’s advice to stop doing autotune while repeatedly complaining about the state of r&b/hip-hop. Chris can do his same thing and fuss if you’re gonna do your same thing and fuss.
Well Said! 💯
