Chris Brown has more new tracks on the way.
Fresh from releasing his tenth album ‘Breezy,’ the singer has revealed that a deluxe edition to the 23-track-set is incoming imminently.

Brown made the reveal on Instagram Stories, amidst a rant about being targeted for his album sales after ‘Breezy’ debuted at #4 with 72,000 on the Billboard 200.
He wrote:
“July 8th Breezy Deluxe Album.
Not that it matters…
Seems like y’all only invest in the negative stories about me. Chris gets in trouble (the whole world is ON it). Chris drops album (crickets…).”

Chris last album hasn’t even sold 100k TOTAL in pure sales and correct me if I’m wrong but doesn’t it count as a double disk? Those are awful sales. Matter of fact, his last album to reach 500k pure sales was Fortune 10 years ago! Usher sold around the same amount a year earlier 15 years into his career.

It’s a new wave a sound and music, and CB hasn’t got on it yet.. Drake, Lizzo , and Queen Bey have all created a new wave. RNB/POP is coming back. No one wants to keep listening to you do the same vocals and the same sound. There is only so much you can change up one song to make it sound different. I think he has a formula and it works for making songs not growth.

First of all there’s only so many songs you’re going to have on an album without some becoming fillers and/or sounding the same. The standard today is 10 or 12. Number of tracks on an album that would offer an enjoyable experience. It’s too many and now some sound redundant putting out more new songs on the deluxe is now overkill. Now the meaning gets lost in translation. I understand what Chris was trying to do but he still doesn’t understand it’s more about the quality of his craft. It will become forgettable

Big CB fan! However, with music changing so much and the overconsumption rate tripling with everything..he gotta come w material that doesn’t repeat itself! Everything can’t be about wanting to, wishing to, getting to Eff girls, being tipsy on drank in the club and the bag etc..that Same material would suffice 6 months ago, not now! Plus 23 tracks is a lofty goal for the consumer to swallow that much material now days and not repeat urself musically. Lastly I’ll keep saying over and over again, we need to take a page from country music, who supports their artists w material that leaves somethin to imagination, songs that take you on the journey and not right to the bedroom or straight to being drunk or high or counting the bag! I know it’s about writing what you live and experience. Then maybe there needs to be better experiences to write about! Sorry but unless artists are making songs just for their core audience then they need to figure out how to not just write tracks “for their core audience” overconsumption is killing alot of industries including music, Chris gotta make better and less material for a stronger impact..my two cents
I love the Breezy album its one I can listen to from start to finish. He did not leave is core fans love for him out of the album but gave life to new ones as well.
