Nearly eight months after fans of HBO Max’s ‘Sweet Life: Los Angeles’ learned it would be renewed for a second season, a first glimpse of the Issa Rae-executive produced show has made its way to the ent.
Set to land on screens August 4 with four new episodes, the 10-episode season will roll out three new episodes every week on the streamer until its season finale on August 18.
Following a group of friends who “give a unique look at what it means to be young, Black, ambitious, and in constant pursuit of one’s dreams,” ‘Sweet Life: Los Angeles’ chronicles the rollercoaster of their individual and collective lives as they explore life through the chaos of being African American, 20-something-years-old, and trying to make it in Cali.
Said to be shedding an important life on the uniqueness of Black culture in the region, look inside for your first peek at what’s new to come for the cast comprised of Amanda Scott, Jerrold Smith II, P’Jae Compton, Rebecca Magett, Briana Jones, Cheryl Des Vignes, Jaylenn Hart, Rob Lee, and Tylynn Burns in the unscripted series’ sweet season 2 trailer.
