Michael Jackson‘s son Prince has now spoken out.
For, he is sharing his thoughts on who the true “King of Pop” really is.

Appearing on ‘Good Morning Britain,’ Prince addressed Rolling Stone‘s claim the Harry Styles is the new King of Pop.
While Prince did admit that Styles is “an incredible artist,” he said that his dad “will always be the King of Pop.”
“The King of Pop is a moniker that my dad earned in a time that the access to information, the access to popularity and fame wasn’t as easily accessible as it is today,” he said.
“With so many other social factors that you have to take into consideration at that time, I do feel that my father is the King of Pop, will always be the King of Pop, and it’s not something that you can ever take away, because we’ve just evolved so much as a society that those same factors will never be the same,” he continued.
Elsewhere, Prince touched on what it was like to grow up in the spotlight and how he has understood his father’s impact as he has gotten older.

Why can’t they both be the King of Pop of their respected eras? You can’t have one King of Pop forever, like in another 100 years, for example. Times change, new generations come up and older ones sadly fade. It’s called LIFE.
I could get with this, but I just learned of Harry Funny Styles this year only because of this magazine proclaiming this title. I had never heard any of his music until a cppl months ago. MJ was known regardless of how people felt about him. King of pop is a stretch for the man who enjoys a blouse.
