Lizzo has been embroiled in quite the drama this week after being accused by several dancers with a wave of claims ranging from sexual harassment to a volatile working environment.
Today (August 3) saw the ‘About Damn Time’ performer clap back and deny the allegations in earnest.
Now, as the tussle intensifies, reps for Lizzo have released a video of accuser Arianna Davis praising Lizzo. Most notably after the alleged wrongdoing took place.
Full story below…
Appearing in an April 2023 audition video for Lizzo’s Prime Video show ‘Watch Out for the Big Grrrls,’ Davis showers the chart-topper with positivity and gushes about working with her.
What’s crucial to note is that the audition was filmed after Davis starred in season 1 of the show and went on Lizzo European leg of Lizzo’s tour (which was the winning prize).
See, the entirety of Davis’ claims point to alleged incidents that allegedly took place before she shot this audition video.
Yet, after the wrongdoing supposedly took place, she’s seen smiling and gushing:
“It’s been so amazing and such a beautiful journey. I look up to her so much. I just want to follow in her footsteps, and I just want to share that with the Queen Lizzo herself.”
In response, Lizzo’s lawyer Marty Singer said:
“These do not sound like the words of someone who was harassed or discriminated against by someone they described as ‘THE QUEEN.”
What are…
Embarrassing….
What are you supposed to say when you’re one step away from your dream, and you have a camera in your face? Chile, please. This doesn’t sway me one bit.
She should have walked away. If the allegations are true, what she did on camera was sell her soul.
So it’s okay if she’s seen as a liar. Great that will hold up well in court. Once a liar….
Lizzo probably offering her a year of free Popeyes membership so she STFU
