Taylor Swift has taken over the charts thanks to her album ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ and it account for a lot of the sales market in the United States.

Taking to press, Billboard announced that accounted for 43.8% of all albums sold in the U.S. during its first week. The outlet goes on to say that, ‘1989’ sold 1.359 million of the total 3.102 million sold last week.
Additionally, it sold 1.261 million copies on the physical format and that accounted for 46.9% of all physical album sales.
As we previously reported, ‘1989’ opened to Swift’s biggest sales of her career and the biggest sales week of the year.
Additionally, the album opened to the biggest sales week since Adele’s ’25’ sold 3.38 million in November of 2015.
