Has Doja Cat silently suffered abuse at the hands of her older brother?

If court documents filed by her mom are to be believed, the answer is a shocking “yes.”

In docs obtained by our friends at TMZ, Deborah Elizabeth Sawyer – mother of chart-topping rapstress Doja Cat – recently filed for a temporary restraining order against her 30-year-old son, Raman Dalithando Dlamini, due to claims he has been physically and verbally abusive to them both.

Per Sawyer, Raman has not only assaulted the GRAMMY winner with weapons (leaving her cut and bruised) but also knocked some of her teeth out in the past.

As if that’s not enough, he’s also allegedly destroyed or stolen some property and interacts with Doja in a “very degrading and demeaning manner” – leaving her feeling “unsafe and traumatized.”

Sawyer says she’s suffered mental and physical abuse from Raman as well with the most recent incident of him threatening to harm her happening close to the top of this year.

According to reports, the judge did grant Doja’s mom court-ordered protection from Raman pending a hearing for a more extensive solution but – despite Sawyer’s request – the Rap diva would need to file her own request for a restraining order to be protected.

At the time of this publishing Cat has not publicly responded to the news.
