Just a day after news hit the Web that music megastar Beyonce will not be hitting the GRAMMY stage on Sunday night (February 4), official reps have confirmed her fellow Pop titan Taylor Swift won’t be either.
As one of the night’s most-nominated acts, it was expected Taylor would be among the 66th annual GRAMMY Awards’ high-profile performers as well.
Despite the rumor mill working overtime to assert she would, reps took to press over the weekend to confirm she will only be in attendance and not performing.
According to reports, she is scheduled to immediately travel to Japan for the next leg of her ‘Eras Tour‘ tour after the awards ceremony as she is slated to perform four back-to-back shows at the Tokyo Dome from February 7-10.
From there, she’ll jet to Australia, Asia, and Europe before circling back to North America to conclude the history-making outing.
Earth + its inhabitants WILL survive. . .
I don’t think anybody over the age of 12 was looking forward to Taylor Swift performing.
I’m not watching! They do nothing but give these legendary awards to the insta artists who are more popular than they are talented. They can’t handle the stage which is why people aren’t watching these award shows anymore
Music to my ears!!!
And tomorrow we will hear about the Grammys having the lowest rating in history. And we will be off to the Super Bowl.
