It’s hard to believe it’s been nearly 2 decades since EGOT-winning superstar John Legend first crooned his way onto the Billboard charts with hits from his multiPlatinum debut album ‘Get Lifted.’
This is mainly because the GRAMMY-winning project, hailed one of the century’s greatest R&B efforts, still sounds as fresh as ever.
Proof of that came when Legend took to the May 7 episode of ‘The Voice’ (where he serves as resident judge) to render a live performance of the LP’s biggest hit ‘Ordinary People.’
Joined by an orchestra, look inside to see the stunning showing that garnered John a standing ovation from the audience and fellow judges.
