Kehlani may have already moved on to ‘Next 2 U,’ the next single from her June 21-due fourth studio album ‘Crash,’ but the project’s lead single – ‘After Hours‘ – is still clocking in for major spins on streaming, digital download, and radio outlets.
Nearly two months after first hitting the airwaves, the April 4-released ‘Hours’ finally made its first appearance on the Hot 100 this week.
Debuting at #84, the Nina Sky-sampling cut arrived as the week’s highest-charting solo debut among all female acts.
Checking off a personal milestone as well, the fourth quadrant premiere also marks the third-highest Hot 100 openings of Kehlani’s career among all of her unaccompanied songs. Only 2020’s ‘Toxic‘ (#68) and 2016’s ‘Gangsta‘ (#62) opened higher with their respective arrivals.
Among all of her titles, the Cardi B-led ‘Ring‘ remains Kehlani’s overall highest debut with its #28 first-week placement in 2018.

Flop! Is she the Black Ava Max? Always coping other people’s song
She can move to her beloved P********. Muslims just love women who perform explicit songs and in racy videos. Her career is a FLOP.
She’s too boring. Never been into her.
