Just a day after headlines rang out that Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs had been denied bail following his Monday arrest (September 16) and subsequent indictment on federal charges of racketeering, conspiracy, sex trafficking, transportation to engage in prostitution, and more, the embattled music and fashion mogul has learned his second attempt at immediate freedom failed.
Via news delivered at a hearing in Manhattan federal court on Wednesday (September 18), a judge reiterated the stance of a previous magistrate that Diddy must remain detained in a Brooklyn federal prison until his trial as he potentially poses as a flight risk as well as a danger to others.
The decision, as first reported by AP, came after Combs’ lawyers renewed their request to let him pay a $50 million bond and await trial under house arrest at his Miami mansion.
In addition to the $50 million bond and house arrest, they promised Diddy would submit to GPS monitoring, travel restrictions, constant monitoring of visitors, weekly drug testing, and even restrict his female visitation to family and the mothers of his children (given the circumstances surrounding his charges).
None of those conditions were enough to sway the judge.
At the time of this report, it’s unclear if Combs’ legal team with go for a third attempt at bail.
i Cried 😢 😭 🤧

The judge should grant him bail some of these accusations are from years ago. And nobody died
He won’t get it
He should get it, he needs a new judge
I concur. This is very very true.
some old assault charges dirty money from old business deals and Nobody died he should be granted bail
He’s not getting it
he should get bail, Diddy has not took flight he has cooperated
You have valid points, but I believe that the judge fears that Puff – who has his own private jet & the means to leave the states at his disposal – is a flight risk. Thus, they know where he is at all times if he’s imprisoned. Thus the reasons for Bail Denials.
That being said, he should get bail at some point, possibly with a new judge seated.
Still better than usher’s her p e s d
i’m no diddy fan but he should be granted bail. actual criminals are consistently pushed back on the streets every day to continue robbing and carjacking people. using the legal system to make examples of people is not the intended use.
I’m no Puff fan either; never had been. But, I think some of these persons who have accused him were at some point willful participants in the acts that he’s accused of. Thus, he should be granted bail at some point.
It’s the OTHER prisoners who want him bailed out!
