To ensure his fans have a legendary yuletide season, John Legend is bringing prized numbers from his critically acclaimed holiday album ‘A Legendary Christmas‘ to a city near them on a North American tour.
Announced Friday (October 4), the 11-city jaunt will kick off in Highland, California, on December 2 before hopping across to Oklahoma, Georgia, New Jersey, Oregon, and more ahead of a December 21 wrap up in Maryland.
“My hope for these shows is that they feel like a gathering of friends by the fireside — where the music brings warmth, joy, and a sense of togetherness,” he told the press at the time of the tour’s announcement. “Over the years, I’ve experienced the holidays in so many ways, and each version of me—from my childhood to now as a father—has shaped the way I approach this season. I want to share that journey with the audience, through songs and stories that celebrate both the festive spirit and the moments that bring us closer. I hope people leave feeling like they’ve been part of something warm, familiar, and special.”
Pre-sale tickets are available starting Monday (October 7) at 10 a.m. local time and will be followed by the general public sale which begins on Wednesday (October 9) at 10 a.m. local time.
