Cynthia Erivo may be flying across the promotional trail in support of ‘Wicked,’ but her latest stop thrust her tenure in ‘The Color Purple’ on Broadway back into the spotlight.

The star made a visit to The Jennifer Hudson Show today (November 27) and took a trip down memory lane.

Eruvo and Hudson both starred together on the Broadway adaptation of ‘Purple’ – with the former taking on the lead role of Celie and Hudson heating up the stage as Shug Avery.

In celebration of their history, the duo sang together for the first time in almost a decade. They belted ‘What About Love?’ from ‘The Color Purple.’
