I had really high hopes for Jade as a solo artist. Sadly, none of the music she has released thus far has resonated with my eclectic, but American, ears. I expected urban-tinged pop/bad b*tch music, but sonically she has left me confused and disconnected. I’ll definitely check out her debut, but I don’t have high expectations.
