New Song: Chris Brown – ‘Nixxa’s In Paris (Ft T.Pain)’

Published: Tuesday 18th Oct 2011 by David

Get into Chris Brown‘s remix of The Throne‘s ‘Nixxa’s In Paris‘ which surfaced online just hours ago.

Sure to appease those in favor of the singer’s Rap endeavors, the release sees Brown switch harmonies for bars with the lyrics:

‘You ain’t no groupie girl and you know that I won’t say shit. You got skeletons in your closet, I got aliens in my basement

Get familiar with the cut below…

Hmm.
While we give kudos to Brown for delivering such an interesting take on what is now such a well loved song, we can’t help but to think Chris The Rapper’s efforts would make for easier listening if he didn’t seem to be trying so hard.

Either way, we’re sure Team Breezy will love it.

    Chris Is Definitely Multi Talented. This Is The Obvious. I Like It When My Boy Raps

    Because I Know He’s Good. But Talent When It Comes To Singing And Stage Presence.

    At This Time He’s Unrivaled In The World Of R&B. Good Luck To Anyone Who Tries.

    First of all, I’m TeamBreezy but I’m no TeamMCBreezy. Enough with the rap, where is “Up to you” video?

    Second point , why do I feel like it would mean the world to Breezy if Jay-Z reconnects with him? *yes I said it*

    I mean he uses his songs on stage now this remix…Actually when you think about it, Jay is the missing link to make this comeback complete.

    Hang in there, Chris, Jigga will call you.

    And One More Thing. TGJ. Easier Listening? GTFOH With That Gay S***!!!! Chris

    Destroyed This Track From The Beginning To End. Trying Too Hard? Actually He Made

    It Sound Easy! You Don’t Know What Your Talking About At All. I Guess You Prefer No

    Emotion When He Flows. NO. This Is Chris Naturally Flowing And Destroying A Track.

    He Mentioned At The Start That He’s Just Messing Around WIth This Rap. But He’s

    Getting Better With Time. At Least I’ve Definitely Noticed That He Is. Go Chris! One Up!

    @Mishka. After The Nod, And The Sip Of His Drink At The VMA’s I Mentioned On That Post That People Had It Backwards. That Jay Seems More Like He Wants To Work With Chris More Than Anything. I Kept Trying To Tell People This Back Then, But People
    Believe What They Want To. Jay Z Is A Business Man First. And He Does What
    Makes Dollars And Cents. So I Was Telling People Back Then Not To Be Surprised If They See A Jay Z Chris Brown Collaboration Soon. Maybe Even The Sequel To The Umbrella Remix With Rihanna. I Mean Her New Video For We Found Love Has Chris All Through It. And She Speaks Directly To Chris And Karrueche Tran In Princess Of China. She Stuck Up For Him On Twitter. And She Just Spoke Good Things About His Career Including The Excitement She Feels Watching His Career Take Off to New Heights. So I SO SEE THIS Happening. AGAIN WE FOUND LOVE WAS MADE TO DESESITIZE HER FANS AND TO GUIDE THEM OVER THE WHOLE WE HATE CHRIS THING. She Feels That They Found Love In A Hopeless Place Because Of The Fans, The Media, And The Record Label Telling her What Not To Do To Keep Career S****** From Happening. But In THe Video CHRIS IS ALL THROUGH IT.. Everyone WIll See….

    Dope remix, for the record didn’t CB make a song with J Cole and isn’t J Cole Jay Z artist. Jay Z doesn’t have beef with CB, I don’t know why people keep saying that.

    OK…come on now, I love Chris’ urban pop music, but this is an epic fail.From the lyrics to the tone of his voice to the flow to the slightly remixed beat (that has lost all its magic in this version) this is a hot burning mess.Chris seemed to be improving before this one, but this is a huge step back for him in the rap department.

    Nevertheless, it’s good to see him taking something so seriously and passionately and striving for the best, but this song was simply too much for him to handle.I think this beat is TOO much of a killer for any of the mainstream artists to handle, let alone an urban pop SINGER.In my opinion, he should go one step at a time with his rap experimentation and keep his flow clean and simple until he’s ready to go for it.He doesn’t have to rush 😎

    It’s for Halloween for Christ sake, not a career move

  8. Angelique October 18, 2011

    Chris’ rapping is improving. He could do anything he puts his mind to.

  9. mobwife October 18, 2011

    I love Beezy and T-Pain together.

    This is obviously done for fun so people chill out! Chris can scratch his nose and the world i.e.haters pause just to peep and critique his technique!

  10. mobwife October 18, 2011

    @ASAP

    LOL well the original song as well as WTT CD is an EPIC FAIL so there you have it. The only thing about that song that’s passable is the T.I.P. rap on the remix! Chris is just enjoying himself its really not that serious!

  11. MadonnaLover October 18, 2011

    Chris needs to stop rapping or improve his lyricism………..I gave up on him rapping a long time ago but people aer still behind it. I dont know why. He’s a decent songwriter but that does NOT always equal great rapping skills. His flow is cool but what’s a flow without decent lyrics? As his CYPHER verse was, it’s punchlines put together to sound cool. Not good, sorry.

  12. ASAP (As Sincere As Possible) October 18, 2011

    @MOBWIFE I agree about the T.I. remix, he added something to it, even though he didn’t handle that beat well, either.I don’t know if anyone can handle this beat tbh.It’s FIRE.Jay and Kanye had weak flows and relatively poor lyrics, but their voices and slow rap paces kind of suited the beat, so I wouldn’t call it an epic fail.

    And yes, this song is not that serious.I’m mostly focused on the ‘Wet The Bed’ video tbh.But in any case, he could have done better in this particual remix 😎

    @Krylon

    This sounds really cute but I’m gonna have to side-eye the Breezy-Camel collabo. I really don’t see that happening. I can see Chris and Kanye working together again. He served as a mentor before the incident and I see signs that Kanye would like to work with him again. Who knows though, you might be right. I do want to see how the “We Found Love” video turned out and what her true motive was for casting a Breezy look alike.

  14. mobwife October 18, 2011

    @ASAP

    I’m not at all interested in the WTB video. That is probably my least favorite song on the FAME CD. I just knew his was coming with the Paper Scissor Rock release and video after the BET Award show performance. I’m hopeful that will be his next single. Hopefully he will surprise me on the WTB video and it will make me like that song as Beyonce’s Love On Top vid has made me like that song!

    LOL 🙂

    No, I hope Camel keeps grazzing on that grass and watching Bey’s camel bump. He needs to leave Breezy alone! Camel knows he’s the cause of all the pain and turmoil his mentee is experiencing today. Yes, she has #1 songs but does anyone think that girl is truely happy?

    Why are RihRih fans on here pretending to be Team Breezy, like you are giving an honest opinion about this song. GTFOOH! Chris Brown won 4 rap awards, so he has proven himself to the rap community that he is a rap artist and has been excepted as such. Chris Brown doing it are you mad?

  20. Robier October 18, 2011

    I’m a fan of some of Chris Brown’s music but not a fan of Jay-Z/Kanye’s version of this song. I think CB killed it and as others said, he’s just having fun. I also don’t get the impression that he’s “trying too hard”. If you listen to some of the lyrics, you can tell that he was releasing pent-up anger. He’s tired of apologizing to people, etc…

    I do, however, think he was referencing Jay-Z when he said the part about “bring your crown over”. Maybe he’s alluding to Jay-Z on the “throne”?

    I know I’m late to this convo but I just came across the song a few minutes ago and have been listening to it on repeat. Feels like it’s CB’s way of saying “STFU” and move on.
