Tickets for Taylor Swift’s latest concert film rollout sent AMC Theatres’ platform into meltdown mode.

On Friday, Swift announced the official release of ‘The Life of a Showgirl’, the movie, which is set to be released in theatres from October 3-5.

It will feature the world premiere of the music video ‘The Fate of Ophelia’, footage of the behind-the-scenes of the album creation, explanations of her inspirations, and new lyric videos from the album (which also drops on October 3).

Demand was so overwhelming that everyone was directed to a waiting room, with waits going up to an hour. The surge in traffic caused the site to go down, and naturally, X turned into a battlefield.
