The evening’s musical menu also included ‘Love Story’ and ‘Blank Space,’ alongside ‘I Knew It, I Knew You.’
The latter made for a fitting addition to the film-focused festivities, having arrived earlier this year as Swift’s contribution to ‘Toy Story 5.’
Now in its sixth year, the gala raises funds for the Academy Museum’s exhibitions, screenings, and education programs. This year’s honorees included Colman Domingo, Charlize Theron, and John Carpenter.
