Mis-Teeq Reportedly Plotting 25th Anniversary Comeback

Published: Saturday 3rd Jan 2026 by Sam

Mis-Teeq are reportedly gearing up for a major comeback in 2026.

The Brit-bred R&B-Pop ensemble made waves on home soil and beyond with their infectious sound and timeless anthems, yet the trio has been effectively inactive since splitting in 2005.

Now, though, it looks like Sabrina Washington, Alesha Dixon, and Su-Elise Nash are readying a return to the spotlight in celebration of a career milestone.

Full story below…

According to The Sun, the ladies are plotting a 25th anniversary toast of their debut studio album, ‘Lickin’ On Both Sides.’

The LP is home to hits such as ‘One Night Stand’ and ‘All I Want.’ Released in 2001, it catapulted the group to the upper echelon of charts in the UK and saw them break new ground globally.

Smashes such as ‘Scandalous’ would follow, but the volume turned all the way down when their label went bust in 2003 and effectively ended their run. Arguably prematurely.

Dixon’s solo ventures across music and TV saw her career soar, but fans also quietly remained hopeful of a Mis-Teeq “something” in due course.

Those dreams looked to be in jeopardy when Washington set sail on pre-litigation proceedings against Universal Music and Dixon over alleged unpaid royalties. It’s not known what became of that.

Mis-Teeq’s Comeback Plans

With drama seemingly in the rearview, Mis-Teeq are mulling a multitude of options.

A source  shared:

“At the minute, lots of things are being discussed and one thing that has come up is the idea of a one-off show. It could be an intimate gig for their die-hard fans or a performance on a big TV programme such as Britain’s Got Talent – which Alesha is a judge on.”

Noting that a full-fledged tour isn’t on the cards (as of writing), the insider added:

“Nothing has formally been offered, but nothing is off the table. ‘Lickin’ On Both Sides’ launched Alesha, Sabrina, and Su-Elise’s music careers, and that record holds a really special place in their hearts. They want to celebrate that album with their fans.”

We’re all sorts here for a Mis-Teeq reunion!

For all their success, there are aspects of their run that are so unsung and they ought to receive the celebratory nod that they deserve.

I always liked Mis-Teeq but never really heard from them until Scandalous was released in 2004 with Catwoman movie. It’s crazy how their record label went bankrupt. I’m assuming they were on the same label that Victoria Beckham made bankrupt for spending the 2 million & released only one single, Let You Head Go & no R&B/Hip Hop album that she was working on was released. I wonder why Mis Teeq couldn’t release music under their American record label instead of breaking out. Just barely was breaking into the US market
