The ‘A Different World’ reboot is officially back with major cast announcements, and this time it’s for a new generation while still honoring longtime fans of the classic series.

The Netflix sequel continues to build excitement, adding two original cast members alongside fresh faces. Dawnn Lewis, who originally played Jaleesa Vinson-Taylor, and Glynn Turman, known for his role as Col. Bradford Taylor, are both set to reprise their roles.
Joining the cast are new additions, including Tichina Arnold and Raven Goodwin, with Goodwin taking on the role of Dr. Brooklyn Boyer, bringing a fresh perspective to the beloved HBCU-centered show.

While an official release date remains under wraps, production on the Netflix sequel is underway in Atlanta.
Filming is taking place across soundstages and local HBCU campuses to recreate the spirit of Hillman College.

I agree, a Living Single revival would also be great. Of course the Queen would have to agree to it. They should do it while the full cast is alive and well.
