Weeks of speculation and teasing have culminated to the highly anticipated release of Chloe Bailey and Timbaland‘s joint mixtape ‘Resurrection.’
Marking a sonic reinvention for Bailey following her last body of work – 2024’s critically acclaimed ‘Trouble in Paradise‘ – the 13-track project comes as an ode to the bass-buoyed, groundbreaking 90’s sounds that lined the albums of acts like Aaliyah and Missy Elliott (making Timbo one of his generation’s leading producers in the process).
Delivered to digital streaming platforms courtesy of Parkwood Entertainment and Columbia Records on Friday (June 19), ‘Resurrection’ serves a hearty helping of new music to tide Chloe fans over until her next official LP drops (and the long-awaited Chloe x Halle reunion album follows that).

I actually like what I have heard. I haven’t discovered a “standout” track, but as far as creating a groove and playing around with it – I think they did a good job. Chloe – people LOVE to hate on her for no reason. Other than Tinashe, what other young female artist is giving us creative attempts?
She’s f****** horrible and they are trying to make her a “thing” when she ain’t no “thing
