As the Grammy winner performed at the park’s Bayside Amphitheater, a yacht displaying a large “SeaWorld Kills” banner sailed into view behind the stage. Earlier in the day, demonstrators also gathered outside the venue with signs urging the singer and concertgoers to reconsider supporting the marine park.
In a statement, PETA reiterated its long-standing criticism of SeaWorld, alleging that dolphins and orcas endure inhumane conditions in captivity and calling on the company to end its breeding program in favour of seaside sanctuaries.
Neither Ashanti nor SeaWorld has publicly responded to the demonstration. The protest, however, quickly gained traction online.

Who cares? She’s probably grateful for some publicity.
You know shes filming season 2 of that Nelly reality show. Wouldn’t be surprised if this was a stunt that her team planned.
