Lauren Jauregui isn’t shrinking herself to satisfy the comment section.

The Fifth Harmony songbird delivered a pointed response to body critics at the 2026 MTV VMAs, embracing a decidedly “punk” outlook on beauty standards during a candid chat with E! News.

And she had plenty to say.

Speaking with E! News’ Keltie Knight, Jauregui declared:

“Honestly, I feel like it’s punk as f**k to not be a twig right now, and that’s kind of where I’m at.”

The singer also opened up about living with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS):

“I am a woman. I fluctuate like all women do. I struggle with PCOS as well, which not a lot of people like to talk about.”

For Jauregui, confidence isn’t something she’s putting to a public vote.

“I think I’m beautiful.”

“I really feel like my aura, my light comes from within. Like I’m still doing my thing, and I’m still a star.”

As for those determined to tear her down? The songstress says growing older has changed how much space she gives their opinions:

“I think I’ve grown and matured to a point where like the hatred doesn’t really faze me.”

Instead, she’s choosing where to place her attention:

“I read the love, and I feel the love.”
