Chris Brown is back in the headlines after footage of his 2023 London nightclub attack surfaced following his sentencing in the UK.
The newly released CCTV footage shows the R&B star striking music producer Abraham Diaw with a tequila bottle during a confrontation at Tape nightclub in Mayfair in February 2023.

The footage, presented at Southwark Crown Court, shows Brown hitting Diaw multiple times, including blows to the head, before his vocal coach Omololu Akinlolu joins the altercation.

Diaw required hospital treatment for head and knee injuries, including a serious ligament injury.
As reported, on Monday (October 26), Brown was sentenced to eight months in prison, suspended for 12 months, after pleading guilty to affray in July. The ruling means the singer will not serve immediate jail time, provided he complies with the conditions of his suspended sentence.
The case follows Brown’s arrest in Manchester in May 2025, after which he was released on £5 million bail.
With the sentencing now concluded, the resurfaced footage has renewed attention on the incident.
