The lukewarm response to Nelly Furtado‘s comeback single ‘Big Hoops’ hasn’t deterred the eclectic singer from pressing on with her new project, ‘The Spirit Indestructible’.
This weekend saw the Canadian singer jet out to Paris, where she premiered the album’s title track live at the Issy les Moulineaux festival.
Can the new cut right the wrongs of the LP’s first offering? The answer awaits after the jump…
Now, that’s more like it! Quintessentially Nelly, while not veering so “left” it drops off a cliff (ala ‘Hoops’). Good stuff.
‘The Spirit Indestructible’ album hits stores on September 18th.
Good song, but please get that Indian of the stage, totaly not working…
He’s native american, not Indian
Not feeling her new sound.
Its cute….I like it
I like this!
this is the definition of a dying nasally cat not rihanna.
I LOVE IT! And I love her too. I hope the era works for her. Can’t wait for the HQ version of the track and for its official radio add date. I want to see her climbing the airplay chart the way ‘Big Hoops’ didn’t.
missin the good ol loose times 🙁
