BTS rocked ‘The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon’ with a weeklong residency (billed #BTSWeek) in September 2020 to celebrate the release of their fifth Korean-language album, the Billboard 200-topping ‘BE.’

This week, the septet’s returned for another ‘Tonight Show’ takeover – this time a two-night affair to showcase live renditions of their Hot 100 #1 smash, ‘Buttter,’ and its successor, the soon-to-be-hit ‘Permission to Dance.’

The latter, which was released July 9, has already shot to the top of real-time streaming and digital sales tally.  Once the group’s dedicated fans, affectionately called #BTSArmy, get a load of the tune’s first U.S. televised performance it’s certain to cement its status as the most popular single in the country.
