Pizzza Hut has launched an investigation into an incident which saw one of its employees insult an innocent African-American child in a disturbing social media post.

Gunner Jones went viral after he posted an image of himself holding a child with the caption “Adopted a Monkey”.
When his school refused to take action his classmates took to the net to spread the word via Twitter as they had good reason to fear that the child in the image was in danger.
It wasn’t long before investigative Twitter users discovered that the alleged racist worked at Pizza Hut and that his father, Glenn Jones, is employed by the Waldorf Astoria.

An update from one of his classmates suggests that he may have been suspended from school as a result of his worrying actions as pressure mounts on Pizza Hut to fire him.
