Report: Kobe Bryant Pilot Received Danger Warning Before Tragic Crash

Published: Monday 27th Jan 2020 by David

As the world comes to the term with the loss of Kobe Bryant, his daughter Gianna and the families who were perished with them, more information about the moments which led up to the tragic crash has emerged.

Full story below…

The precise cause of the crash is still unknown, but new information emerging from Los Angeles seems to cite fog as a contributing factor.

For, the Los Angeles police and country sheriff’s department reveal that the weather conditions at the time of the incident were so severe that they grounded all of their aircraft because they feared the fog would stand as a safety risks to pilots.

Recently released audio reveals that an air traffic controller told Kobe’s pilot that they feared the helicopter was flying too low to be picked up by radar. The pilot can be heard explaining that he was still in VFR conditions which means he felt the visibility was clear enough to fly to his destination by sight without the help of instruments onboard.

The helicopter crashed shortly after.

Air accident investigators have been dispatched to the scene to examine the incident.

Ugh. So sad. If professionals and experts are telling you not to do something because of safety, please listen to them. This could have been avoided by simply not flying due to the fog. Same with Aliyah’s crash – had they just waited and put some of that luggage on another flight, or gotten a bigger plane, she may still be here.

Just tragic. Praying for his family, and for the families of all of those that were lost. So sad.

So true @onlyfacts. Even if you are a professional, please listen to your authorities and counterparts when they alert you of danger. No matter if you yourself feel it’s safe or not.

I keep thinking about Aaliyah as well. Her death could have possibly been prevented if the pilot had just listened and put the excessive weight of luggage on another plane. Smh. This is all so sad. My heart goes out to Kobe’s wife and children. So devastating to lose your dad, husband and your sister/daughter in the same day. Ugh. Such a tragedy!

        Sadly I have to agree.

The pilot is responsible for the saftey of his/her passengers. At first I thought maybe Kobe had piloted sort of like what happened to JFK JR and his wife and sister back in the day. But to learn it was an experienced pilot who decided to forgo warnings of severe fog is even more tragic. Even actual planes had been grounded all weekend at LAX for this reason. The fact that no one raised ENOUGH of a concern beforehand is so tragic. The fact they were traveling only a short distance perhaps made them feel everything would be OK to fly under the fog?!! Truly senseless and heartbreaking. ??

RIP to the 9 souls who passed away. ???

Speaking of AALIYAH, I thought her music suppose to be on every major streaming platform on January 26, 2020… what up with that???

      • only facts January 27, 2020

Unfortunately, that was a fake news story. None of Blackground’s artists have music on streaming services…hence JoJo re-recording her first 2 albums. Sad.

Warnings exist for a reason. I was instantly reminded of Aaliyah, and I’m thinking of the duck boat accident as well. Experts were just talking about helicopter safety after the crash in Hawaii last December and now this happens one month later?? This accident was completely avoidable.

Literally they always say this.. same thing was said after aalyiahs accident.

The details of how this all unfolded, it is so infuriating!
Basic sound judgement, logic and reason could have prevented these families from living this tragedy.
