The new VP sat down for a remote interview on ‘Tha God’s Honest Truth with Charlamagne Tha God’ and things took a tense turn when the host asked whether it was Joe Manchin was really running the US instead of Joe Biden.
“Come on, Charlamagne. It is Joe Biden. No, no, no. It is Joe Biden. Don’t start talking like a Republican, asking whether or not he’s President. It is Joe Biden. And I am vice president and my name is Kamala Harris. And the reality is because we are in office, we do things like the child tax credit…which is going to reduce Black child poverty by 50%.”

Watching it out of context, it seemed disrespecftul, but looking at the whole interview, I think he was feeling really comfortable with Kamala and he was trying to tell her in a casual way that the people voted for her and Biden and he thinks the two of them should have a stronger backbone. I could be wrong, but that’s what I got from it.
America has pretty much eliminated all the strong Black leaders. America doesn’t want strong leaders to be giving a stamp of approval because that would send a message out to everyone.
