It’s been a minute and then some since Vivica A. Fox graced the big or small screen. However, should her latest project be green-lit, that’s all set to change later this year. For, the 47 year old is presently shooting a new comedy pilot, christened Mr. Box Office.
With a spot on The CW’s Fall line-up reportedly the goal, the proposed show is led by actor/comedian Bill Bellamy.
More details below…
Produced by Allen’s Entertainment Studios, Mr. Box Office centres on actor Marcus Jackson (Bellamy), who is one of the biggest movie stars in Hollywood. After the star gets into a physical confrontation with the paparazzi, he finds himself having to fulfill a long-term community service duty. His new job assignment is to teach underprivileged high school kids in a rough South Central neighborhood.
Aunty Viv will reportedly play a cougar history teacher at the school
Rick Fox, Keshia Knight Pulliam, Tim Meadows and Gary Busey also star. {Source}

Exciting stuff! With a growing, yet still small array of ethnic-centric shows on the small screen, this -conceptually-sounds like a great addition.
