There, quite literally, is no stopping the rise of a certain Lupita Nyong’o.
For the ’12 Years A Slave’ actress, recent months have brought with them Oscars, Golden Globes, a myriad of magazine covers, new roles, and a slew of endorsement deals.
Today, though, serves as quite the landmark for the Kenyan born talent – who has been unveiled as the latest cover star of Vogue magazine.
The budding superstar styles and profiles in the stunning shoot, which was lensed by Mikael Jansson for the July 2014 issue of the fashion bible.
We’re loving everything about Ms. Nyong’o’s narrative and imagine more will when they check out her new feature. Peep more pics below…

Im sorry but its too much, this is the same treatment that lil white girl got , the hunger game one, her name has literallt escaped me…how is that some chicks have to struggle for years to prove themselves and this new kids just get handed everything? Its like hollywood finds a new shinny toy and just cant get enough.
Her name is Jennifer Lawrence, and actually she was also in a bunch of movies and shows before her role in Hunger Games gave her widespread notoriety.
Just remembered her name. Yes i know but you cant denie that after hunger games hollywood has been kissing her ass non stop same as their doing with lupita right now. Im not questioning their talent but it takes a lot from the other girls.
They’re not their, should stop making that mistake
Next….
Stunning, she’s fascinating.
LOVE MY BLACK GIRLS SHE LOOKS AWESOME!!!!!

I knew Anna would come through and give Lupita a cover! She’s gorgeous! Not so big on the cover itself but the inside photos are the bomb. Congrats 🙂
To think of it, you are right… it is quite frightening how things seem to be running in the whole entertainment industry. People just seem to show up, fire up to stardom, get lots of hype and then get thrown out. Never the less, kudos to her, I just hope she finds a way to still build her foundation for a good career while it is towering up. I’ve seen her in the MTV Base series ”Suga” before she got the s**** role… She has got potential to have longevity. MAYBE IT IS JUST THAT THE OPERATION OF THE ENTERTAINMENT BUSINESS HAS CHANGED,DONT YOU THINK? Perhaps getting hype is a way of getting introduced and building long term relationships with the press that runs this industry, I mean if you got a call from Vogue magazine, you wouldn’t exactly turn it down would you?
