For the ’12 Years A Slave’ actress, recent months have brought with them Oscars, Golden Globes, a myriad of magazine covers, new roles, and a slew of endorsement deals.

Today, though, serves as quite the landmark for the Kenyan born talent – who has been unveiled as the latest cover star of Vogue magazine.

The budding superstar styles and profiles in the stunning shoot, which was lensed by Mikael Jansson for the July 2014 issue of the fashion bible.
